Aerial spray platform

WIPHAY SPLASH

A precision spray drone for building cleaning and agricultural work.

SPLASH is a hexacopter designed to put water, cleaning solution, or crop treatment exactly where it is needed — on facades, solar arrays, orchards, and fields — without putting people on ladders, lifts, or uneven ground.

SPLASH — aerial cleaning and crop treatment
One airframe, two missions

Clean buildings. Treat crops.

The same flight platform can be configured for facade washing or agricultural spraying. Operators change tanks, nozzles, and mission software instead of buying two different aircraft.

Building & facility cleaning

Reach walls, windows, solar panels, silos, and industrial exteriors that are slow or unsafe to clean by hand. A ground pump can feed the spray boom through a hose so water is not limited by an onboard tank.

  • Facade and window rinsing
  • Solar-panel dust and residue removal
  • Warehouse and silo exterior wash-down
  • Inspection camera while spraying

Farm & orchard operations

Apply water, nutrients, or approved crop treatments in even passes. SPLASH is built for orchards, vineyards, row crops, and greenhouses with outdoor access.

  • Spot treatment and full-field coverage
  • Orchard and vineyard canopy spraying
  • Early-morning and late-day windows
  • Mapped flight lines for repeatable work

Time & endurance

Flight time, charge time, and daily work windows are designed around real cleaning and farm schedules.

22 min

Typical working flight with spray load

30 min

Light-load inspection or rinse flight

28 min

Fast charge to 90% on a swap pack

Time specification Value Notes
Working flight time 20–24 minutes Spray pump on, standard 16 L agricultural load or hose-fed cleaning boom
Light-load flight time 28–32 minutes Inspection, mapping, or low-flow rinse
Hover endurance 18 minutes Station-keeping on a facade or tree line
Standard charge 50 minutes 0–100% on the dock charger
Fast charge 28 minutes to 90% Hot-swap pack so the aircraft stays in the air
Ready-to-fly after swap under 90 seconds Latch, self-check, and resume mission
Daily operating window 6–8 hours With two to three battery packs and a charger
Facade coverage per battery 400–600 m² Depends on dwell time and water pressure
Field coverage rate up to 8 ha / hour Open crop, 5 m swath, multiple batteries

Power system

Propulsion, pumping, and computing share a managed electrical architecture so spray pressure stays stable as the battery discharges.

How a mission runs

Survey, spray, confirm

SPLASH follows a structured loop so cleaning and farm work stay repeatable and measurable.

1

Map

Scan the facade or field and set keep-out zones.

2

Plan

Choose tank, nozzle, pressure, and flight lines.

3

Spray

Hold distance and flow while the aircraft tracks the surface or crop row.

4

Swap

Change batteries or tanks in under two minutes and resume.

5

Report

Store coverage, liters used, and flight time for the next visit.

Safety-oriented flight

Aerial spray work happens near people, glass, power lines, and crops. SPLASH is designed with awareness and limits as part of the architecture. Final operating rules depend on local aviation, pesticide, and building-access regulations.

Geofence

Keep the aircraft inside the property and below a set height.

Return-to-home

Automatic return on low battery, radio loss, or operator command.

Obstacle awareness

Forward vision and ranging to reduce contact with walls, trees, and equipment.

Flow interlock

Pump stops if the aircraft leaves the spray corridor or loses attitude.

Wind limit

Mission software warns and can pause when gusts exceed the working envelope.

Crew protocol

Ground spotter recommended for facade work and public-facing sites.

Who SPLASH is for

Building operators and growers who need repeatable spray work without heavy access equipment.

Facility managers

Keep exteriors and solar arrays clean with shorter site closures.

Cleaning contractors

Add an aerial service line for high walls and hard-to-reach glass.

Farms & orchards

Treat rows and canopies when ground rigs cannot enter wet soil.

Ag cooperatives

Share a platform across members for seasonal spray windows.

Municipal sites

Wash public buildings and monuments with controlled overspray.

Research partners

Test nozzles, flow maps, and vision-guided spray with Wiphay.
